Student Learning Outcomes
Students will be able to identify key issues and concepts relevant to the understanding of how human behavior develops over the life cycle and be able to explain them to a layperson.
Students will be able to generate a hypothesis using a conceptual model relevant to a developmental question and identify an appropriate test of that hypothesis.
Students will be able to see how research findings can be applied in real-life settings.

Outcome #1: Required core lifespan courses HDE 100A, B, and C; additional, required courses (at least two) chosen from among HDE 101, 102, 103, 110, 130 132, and 163.
Outcome #2: Required methods course HDE 120.
Outcome #3: Required practicum course (at least one from: HDE 140L; 141, 142, and 143; also HDE 161 and 162).
