Students will be able to identify key issues and concepts relevant to the understanding of how human behavior develops over the life cycle and be able to explain them to a layperson.

Students will be able to generate a hypothesis using a conceptual model relevant to a developmental question and identify an appropriate test of that hypothesis.

Students will be able to see how research findings can be applied in real-life settings.
