Guidelines for Internships

  • Students cannot use past internships for credit
  • If students are planning to do an internship, let Academic Advisor Hunter know about it; Students must fill out an internship contract and identify faculty sponsors before the internship starts
  • Student must have contract with all required signatures (faculty sponsor + supervisor) BEFORE sending it to academic advisor Hunter requesting a CRN
  • All internship contracts must be submitted before the 10th day of instruction
  • Internship units + written assignments will be discussed with faculty sponsors
  • Students are responsible for enrolling in correct number of units on Schedule Builder
  • Internships are not required to be off campus, but must be relevant to your intended career path
  • Failure to submit a contract before the 10th day of instruction will result in no units for the current quarter for any internship completed, late adds for internships will NOT be allowed
