ENH 105, a course required for the LDA major requirement, was recently discontinued.

Below is a list of classes that are approved substitutions for ENH 105. Students are required to take one class from the below list below to satisfy the ENH 105 LDA major requirement:

LDA 130 - Plants in the City (Note: Only open to SED majors during Pass 1. Also not offered again until 2026)

PLS 002 - Botany & Physiology of Cultivated Plants (Doesn't require any prerequisites!)
PLS 012 - Plants and Society (Doesn't require any prerequisites!)
PLS 127 - Vascular Plant Systematics (Prerequisites: PLS 002 or BIS 002C)
PLS 130 - Grassland Ecology (Prerequisites: PLS 002, BIS 002B or BIS 002C)
PLS 147 - California Plant Communities (Prerequisites: PLS 002 or BIS 002C)

ENH 100 - Urban Forests are Nature-Based Solutions (Prerequisites: PLS 002 or BIS 002B or LDA 001)
ENH 133 - Woody Plants in the Landscape (Prerequisites: PLS 002 or BIS 002C)
