Aggiefeed is a campus activity stream that displays information and events submitted by approved campus departments and organizations. Aggiefeed provides content pertinent to students, faculty, and staff, and messages can be targeted directly to specific groups and individuals or made public for anyone to read.
Aggiefeed is currently accessible on the official UC Davis Mobile app, on myucdavis, and at aggiefeed.ucdavis.edu. Any group on campus can embed aggiefeed on their own web site and customize it to meet their needs. For example, we use Aggiefeed on our home page, Human Development grad group page, and Community Development grad group page, and soon on the Landscape Architecture + Environmental Design page.
Our primary usage of Aggiefeed is to celebrate and highlight faculty publications, achievements, and research. If you have a submission in mind, please send the following to hehelp@ucdavis.edu:
- Desired feed (Human Ecology, HDGG, CDGG, LA+ED)
- Post Title (A few words to a sentence)
- Type (Event or Notification) – Events are associated with a calendar, notifications are evergreen.
- Post (longer for description, usually a paragraph or two)
- Url (link to external content)
- Image (Aggiefeed posts work best with an image, they only support one).
Thanks in advance for your submissions!
