The American Society of Landscape Architects professional and student awards
UCD Prized Writing competition: this competition is designed to select and publish the best expository writing produced by UC Davis undergraduates during the academic year. Contestants must be undergraduates whose work was written for a UC Davis course during a given academic year. Winning entries will be published in Prized Writing: The Essay and Scientific & Technical Writing, which will be sold in the UCD Bookstore and used in writing and GE courses. All winning entries will receive individual awards. There is also a contest for the cover.
Hart Howerton Fellowship Program for graduate and undergraduate students in planning, architecture and landscape architecture.
The Damaris Horan Prize: Landscape History Fellowship with Britain's National Trust
Landscape Architecture Research Award (LDA Seniors). Students apply for grants (funds vary) for Senior Projects (research). The award process is managed by whomever is in charge of Senior Projects that Spring quarter.
