Welcome, Incoming Landscape Architecture + Environmental Design Students!
The Landscape Architecture + Environmental Design program is home to two majors: Landscape Architecture and Sustainable Environmental Design. This page is to help orient you to the program and to help you prepare for your first quarter.
NOTE: When students apply to UC Davis for the Landscape Architecture program, they are accepted as PRE-Landscape Architecture (Pre-LDA) majors. The application process for the LDA major is only for CURRENT students at UC Davis that have met the criteria necessary to apply for the LDA major.
After you have completed Aggie 101 and Aggie Advising modules on Canvas, you are ready to explore the program and to make an appointment with our advising office. As part of your orientation, the following modules will give you thorough information regarding the LDA and SED majors, and hopefully answer any questions you might have. The modules will detail major requirements, how to make a major advising appointment, and possible careers for graduates in your major.
